’RSFTSTYL_¬P>J Hand Surgery_230104_80655ūūHAMA Manual of Style 11th editionSurgery  ¼This is the style for Journal of the Journal of Hand Surgery, published by Elsevier. Author Notes: Should you wish to cite a source on the web, you should first consult the Journal s Guide to Authors located here: https://www.jhsgo.org/content/authorinfo If citing and listing of web references is allowed, as a minimum, the full URL should be given. Any further information, if known (author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web references can be listed separately (e.g., after the reference list) under a different heading if desired, or can be included in the reference list. Try to model the citation as close as possible to the manner journal articles are cited. Selected style notes: The Conference Paper template has Place Published following the URL to accommodate a non-standard reference format using two URLs. The Audiovisual template is being used for examples 3, 4 and 5 in Section 3.13.8 "Conference Proceedings Online, Webinars, and Other Presentations". These are examples of a transcript, videocast, and webinar. Use the Date field to enter the full date and use the Format field to enter "Videocast available at:" or "Transcript available at:" for these references. AMA uses a very simple citation for Classical Works: Author, title and "location". The location can be a verse, an act/scene, volume and page, etc. Use the Number of Pages field for the location data, entering it as it should appear in the bibliography. Section 3.14.4, Online Media: This section has 6 examples. Two of the examples (#3 and #6) can be handled by using Electronic Article, with the caveats that the DOI and access date will be in reverse order than shown in the example, and there will be no period between DOI and date accessed. We cannot accommodate the format for the other 4 examples, but have set up Online Multimedia as a workaround. The basic format for these references is: *Title of the supplemental material (enter data in the Title field) *Publication date (use the Date Cited and Year Cited fields; enter the date as "month day" (no quotes and no comma after the date) *Date the material was accessed (enter data in the Date Accessed field) *URL for the supplemental material (enter data in the URL field) *Description for the supplement (enter in the Type of Work field; this will be "Interactive feature for", "Video supplement to:", etc. [without quotes but including the word "for" or "to"]) *The standard journal citation (i.e., article title, journal name, year, volume, etc.). All of this data will need to be entered in the Place Published field as it should appear in the bibliography. *DOI (if present, enter in the DOI field) Section 3.14.5 are references to transcripts of TV shows, radio broadcasts, etc. As the other A/V and online multimedia reference types are already taken, TV Episode is being used for these references. !X"(#Ģ$%&"(#ā$%&8Journal of Hand Surgery Elsevier<https://www.jhandsurg.org/9¬ !hpqrs…tØxPyzd{  , !|  , !xPydzd{  , !|  , !uh}~, et alūū€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!"hpqrs…tØxPyzd{  , !|  , !xPydzd{  , !|  , !uh}~, et alūū€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!#0H ”¢ųt‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  ;ūū!–—h‘’ “” • –—€‘’ “”  (ūū!•  )ūū!–—€‘ ’ “”  (ūū!•  )ūū!–—€‘’ “”  :ūū!•  . !–—°‘’ “”< *Published online ūū!•  . !–˜˜—ˆ‘+’ “” doi:!• –˜˜— P”¢@t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—Œ‘’ “” •$  ed. ūū!–—˜˜t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—t‘’ “” •  :ūū!–—h‘#’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  .ūū!• –— Œ”¢|t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—Č‘ ’ “” In: !•0 , ed.^eds. ūū!–˜˜—(˜˜˜ ˜t‘’ “” •  . !–—Œ‘’ “” •$  ed. ūū!–—˜˜t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—t‘’ “” •  :ūū!–—h‘’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  .ūū!• –— ” ¢Ø‘’ “” •0 , ed.^eds. ūū!–—(˜˜˜ ˜ t‘’ “” •  . !–—Œ‘’ “” •$  ed. ūū!–—˜˜t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—h‘’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  .ūū!• –— Ø” ¢˜t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  .ūū!–—˜‘’ “”$  Vol. !•  .ūū!–˜˜—t‘’ “”  ūū!• –—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—h‘’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  :ūū!• –—t‘’ “”  . !• –—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–— ‘3’ “”, Accessed ūū!•  . !–˜˜ —h‘’ “” • –— L” ¢<t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–— ‘3’ “”, Accessed ūū!•  . !–˜˜ —t‘!’ “” •  : !–—h‘’ “” • –— ¼”¢¬t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘ ’ “” •  . !–—t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—h‘’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  ;ūū!• –—€‘’ “”  (ūū!•  )ūū!–—t‘’ “”  :ūū!• –—t‘’ “”  . !• –—°‘#’ “”< *Published online ūū!•  . !–˜˜—”‘+’ “” doi:!•  ūū!–˜˜—t‘’ “” •  , !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–— ‘’ “”, Accessed ūū!•  . !–˜˜ —h‘’ “” • –—t‘&’ “”  . !• –— Œ”¢|t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—Č‘ ’ “” In: !•0 , ed.^eds. ūū!–˜˜—(˜˜˜ ˜t‘’ “” •  . !–—Œ‘’ “” •$  ed. ūū!–—˜˜t‘ ’ “” •  ; !–—t‘’ “” •  :ūū!–—h‘’ “” • –—t‘’ “”  .ūū!• –— t” ¢dt‘’ “” •  ūū!–—t‘’ “” •  ūū!–—€‘ ’ “”  (ūū!•  ) !–—t‘’ “” •  ūū!–—€‘’ “”  (ūū!•  ).!–— œ”!¢Œt‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  . !–—t‘’ “” •  ūū!–—Ø‘’ “”4 $presented at: !•  ; !–˜˜—t‘’ “” •  ūū!–—t‘’ “” •  ; !–—t‘ ’ “” •  . !–—œ‘ ’ “”( Session !•  . !–˜˜ — ‘3’ “”, Accessed ūū!•  . !–˜˜ —t‘’ “” •  ūū!–—t‘’ “” •  .ūū!–—$|t‘@’ “” •  . !–—%'(°±²³&e()°ät‘’ “”  , !• –—h‘+’ “” • –—ät‘’ “”  , !• –—h‘"’ “” • –—ät‘’ “”  , !• –—h‘’ “” • –—ܐt‘’ “”  , !• –—€‘’ “”( edited ūū!• –—x‘’ “” and !• –—ˆ‘’ “”0 translated ūū!• –—x‘’ “” by ūū!• –—h‘’ “” • –—*@ä0  ,ūū!213ˆ €”¢ph‘@’  “” • –—Aü ō”¢ät‘’ “” •  ūū!–—h‘@’  “” • –—4hpqrs…tøxXyzd{  , !|$  and ūū!xXydzd{  , !|$  and ūū!uh}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„vw B$  and ūū!C$  and ūū!5(°±²³64ŠŃŅ  -ūū!7dąį  ; !āåęē č 8h}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„9:;  , !<=>?@øPQZ  , !RSxpqrs…tøxXyzd{  , !|$  and ūū!xXydzd{  , !|$  and ūū!uh}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!Txpqrs…tøxXyzd{  , !|$  and ūū!xXydzd{  , !|$  and ūū!uh}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!UVWY,ĄĮĀĆÄ$ Ibid.!Ģ„|‘’ “”$ Ibid.ūū!• –—Å$ Ibid.!ĘĒ ČÉ ŹSxpqrs…tøxXyzd{  , !|$  and ūū!xXydzd{  , !|$  and ūū!uh}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!Txpqrs…tøxXyzd{  , !|$  and ūū!xXydzd{  , !|$  and ūū!uh}~, et al.€‚, . . . ƒ„vw ---ūū!ĖU[H  `ab<dc, Anonymousūū!(@ABC `šńņóōõö÷ųłś
